Msafiri Ponera is a Librarian at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU). Since 2017, he has served as Head of the Readers’ Services Department of Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU). Dr. Ponera holds a PhD in Information Studies from the University of South Africa, a Master of Arts in Co-operative and Community Development from Moshi Co-operative University, and a Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) from Makerere University. His teaching interests are Collection Development, Reference Services, Information Sources and Services, Professional Ethics, Management of Library and Information Institutions. Dr. Ponera has authored several academic articles. Currently, he is working in the Department of Knowledge Management.
