Dr. Elisifa E. Nnko holds Bachelor of Public Administration in Human Resource Management (2005) from Mzumbe University. Master of Science in Human Resource Management (2010) from Mzumbe University and a PhD in Human Resource Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Her areas of expertise include: Public Policy, Leadership and Management, Public Administration, Local Government, Strategic Management, Research Methodology, Human Resource Management, Development Studies, Human Resource Information Systems, Diversity Management, International Human Resource Management, Guidance and Counselling, Labour Law, Organizational Development, Change Management, Office Practice, and Organizational Behavior.

Dr. Nnko has 18 years teaching experience at the University. She teaches Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Research Methodology, Principles of Management, Leadership issues in Organizations, Strategic Management, Perfomance Management, Strategic Human Resource Management, Time Management, Organizational Development, Diversity and Inclusiveness, International Human Resource Management, Public Administration, and Public Policy. Apart from lecturing and administrative duties, Dr. Nnko has been involved in a number of research projects assignments in SACCOS Management, Gender and Development, livelihoods and rural development, co-operative management, and youth participation in agriculture. Dr.Nnko has also published a number of articles in scholarly reputable journals.

Throughout her career, Dr. Elisifa Nnko has worked on Human Resource problem-solving, interpersonal intelligence, as well as creating a healthy work environment, She has a strong history of positive students’ learning outcomes fostered though creative curriculum delivery. Dr. Elisifa Nnko is recognized for her expertise in leadership and change management skills
