Implementing a Single Sign-On (SSO) solution is crucial for improving access management in higher education institutions like MoCU. This study examines the implementation process of an SSO solution and its impact on access management at MoCU. Employing a case study approach, data were gathered through interviews, surveys, and system log analysis. The findings demonstrate that the implementation of an SSO solution streamlined access to various institutional resources, reduced password fatigue, and enhanced security. However, challenges such as user resistance to change and technical integration issues were encountered during the implementation phase. The study concludes with recommendations for overcoming these challenges and maximizing the benefits of SSO implementation in higher education settings.
