As part of the HEET Project’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of academic programs at the University, a Curriculum Development Teams retreat was held in Arusha. This retreat provided an opportunity for members of the Curriculum Development Teams to engage in hands-on activities related to curriculum development and review, all of which aligned with the University’s Qualification Framework 2021.

The retreat featured panel discussions that delved into specific aspects of curriculum development with the support of curriculum development experts, allowing participants to gain a deeper understanding of the process and its implications for academic program quality. The teams actively engaged in the review and development of the sections of the curriculum documents. The retreat successfully achieved its objectives

The retreat in Arusha served as a pivotal event in the university’s journey towards a modernized and aligned curriculum that meets the demands of the 21st-century educational landscape. The collaborative efforts of the Curriculum Development Teams is paving the way for a more relevant, impactful, and globally competitive educational experience for the University’s students.
