Mandate & Functions

  • Constituting teams for the bidding for consultancy assignments;
  • Organising, compiling, and submitting the consultancy bids to prospective clients;
  • Searching for or soliciting consultancy works for the University by organising physical visits to various clients;
  • Communicating with clients on matters related to the execution of consultancy assignments;
  • Monitoring and evaluating the actual undertaking of the consultancy assignments;
  • Calculating, as per consultancy policy and guidelines in collaboration with the consultants, the distribution of the fee for specific tasks;
  • Preparing reports on the status of consultancy activities at the University;
  • Organising in-house capacity-building workshops on consultancy techniques and experiences sharing with MoCU’s staff;
  • Advising the University on all consultancy related matters;
  • Coordinating the consultancy bidding processes, negotiations, and contractual agreements for consultancy undertakings;
  • Approving various consultancy-related documents and keeping records thereof; and
  • Initiating and mainaining linkages and collaboration networks with stakeholders for consultancy projects.
