On August 15, 2025, Prof. John Safari, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic, Research, and Consultancy at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), led the closing ceremony of the Leadership for Change training programme, which brought together leaders from various co-operative and social organizations.

A total of 22 participants graduated from the programme, which was organized under the CACOSMBO Project, coordinated by MoCU and funded by We Effect.

The training aimed to promote transformational leadership by building the capacity of co-operative and social organizations, with the goal of improving governance, accountability, and driving positive institutional change.
