On Thursday, February 26, 2026 A Law Lecturer from Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), Dr. Alphonce Mbuya, delivered a presentation on Regulatory Compliance and the Policy Environment during the SACCOS Leaders’ Forum currently taking place in Morogoro Region.
The presentation was delivered as part of the forum running from 24 to 27 February 2026, which brings together leaders of Financial Co-operative Societies (SACCOS) to discuss governance, compliance, and policy-related issues affecting the sector.
Dr. Mbuya’s contribution focused on enhancing participants’ understanding of regulatory requirements and the policy framework guiding the operations of financial co-operatives, with the aim of strengthening compliance, accountability, and sustainable growth within the SACCOS sector.
The engagement reflects MoCU’s continued role in providing expert knowledge and supporting capacity building within the co-operative movement in Tanzania.
