On Friday, January 23, 2026, Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) has successfully concluded the PUVU Training Programme for accountants from Agricultural Marketing Co-operative Societies (AMCOS) in Nachingwea and Liwale districts.
The completion ceremony was held at the headquarters of RUNALI Co-operative Union, bringing together leaders and key stakeholders from the co-operative sector. The programme focused on strengthening participants’ competencies in bookkeeping, financial record management, and compliance with co-operative accounting standards.
The training is expected to enhance accountability, transparency, and effective financial management within AMCOS, thereby contributing to improved performance and sustainability of co-operative societies.
This initiative reflects MoCU’s continued commitment to capacity building and professional development in support of the co-operative movement in Tanzania.
