On Sunday, March 08, 2026 Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) held a brief event to commemorate International Women’s Day, bringing together female staff members for reflection, learning, and celebration.

During the event, participants were engaged in discussions on maintaining a healthy work–life balance, fostering personal growth and leadership, and understanding the role of emotional intelligence in promoting staff well-being in the workplace.

As part of the occasion, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Alfred Sife, led a special activity of signing a commemorative banner marking the celebration of International Women’s Day. The banner was also signed by several University leaders, presenters, and female staff members as a symbolic gesture to honour the contributions and empowerment of women within the University community.
