MoCU Strengthens Capacity for Consultancy Services in Co-operative and Private Sector Development

On Tuesday, February 10, 2026 Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) continues to strengthen its role in providing professional consultancy services aimed at advancing co-operative societies and private sector organisations in Tanzania.

ACPA (T) Dr. Emmanuel E. Lulandala, Senior Lecturer from the Department of Accounting and Finance at MoCU, facilitated the first day of a two-day capacity-building workshop for staff of the Kizumbi Institute of Co-operative and Business Education (KICoB).

The workshop focuses on enhancing participants’ professional competencies in consultancy and negotiation techniques, organisational assessment, and strategic planning development for co-operative societies and private organisations.

Through this initiative, MoCU continues to demonstrate practical commitment to strengthening consultancy services, with the goal of improving co-operative efficiency, enhancing strategic decision-making, and promoting sustainable co-operative development in Tanzania.

This investment in human capital further strengthens the capacity of co-operative institutions to become more resilient, competitive, and beneficial to their members and stakeholders.
