MoCU Strengthens Collaboration with UCM under the REGCOOP Project

Description:
On October 22, Delegates from the Regional Co-operative Development Project (REGCOOP) at the Catholic University of Mozambique (UCM) visited the Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) and held discussions with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Alfred Sife.

The REGCOOP Project is jointly implemented in Tanzania and Mozambique, with MoCU and UCM partnering to deliver training, conduct research in co-operative societies, and support the establishment of model women’s co-operatives.

The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration in the project’s implementation, particularly in the areas of curriculum development and co-operative education and training.

This engagement underscores MoCU’s continued commitment to promoting regional partnerships that advance co-operative education, research, and empowerment initiatives.
