MoCU Student Athletes Present TUSA GAMES 2025 Trophies to the Vice Chancellor

On Saturday, January 24, 2026, Student athletes from Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) have officially presented the trophies they won during the Tanzania Universities Sports Association (TUSA) Games 2025 to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Alfred Sife.

The TUSA Games 2025 were held in Dodoma Region from 16th to 23rd December 2025, bringing together 18 universities from across the country. MoCU student athletes participated in 34 out of 39 sporting disciplines, involving both male and female competitors.

During the ceremony, the athletes presented a total of eleven (11) trophies, won from thirty (30) events, in addition to numerous gold, silver, and bronze medals earned throughout the competition.

Addressing the athletes, Prof. Sife commended them for their outstanding performance and commitment. He further reaffirmed the University’s dedication to improving sports grounds and related infrastructure to enhance student participation, emphasizing that sports play a vital role in promoting health, well-being, and unity among students.
