Godfrey Karongo is an Assistant Lecturer in Human Resource Management at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), with academic and professional expertise in human resource management, organisational development, and labour relations. He holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management with Information Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management from the Tanzania Institute of Accountancy. In addition, he is certified as a Proficiency Human Resource Officer (PHRO), demonstrating his professional competence and commitment to international human resource management standards and ethical practices.

As an academician and practitioner, Godfrey Karongo has practical and scholarly experience in key human resource management functions, including training and development, recruitment and selection, industrial relations, workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations. His areas of interest include management studies, organisational behaviour, labour laws, and contemporary workplace practices. He is also engaged in research and knowledge dissemination to support institutional growth, professional development, and sustainable organisational performance in both the public and private sectors.
