CPA Samson Chacha Megewa is a dedicated accounting professional, academic, and finance specialist currently serving as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU). With over seven years of progressive experience in accounting, auditing, and financial management, he has built a strong reputation for excellence in both professional practice and academia. His teaching portfolio includes Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Public Finance, and Taxation, and he also serves as a Part-Time Instructor at Excel Financial and Tax Solutions. His research interests focus on financial performance, cooperative finance, taxation, and financial management systems

He holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance (MBA-F) from Mwenge Catholic University (MWECAU), graduating with distinction, and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU). He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-T) and a registered member of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) since 2019. His professional experience spans roles as Project Accountant at Good Samaritan Foundation (KCMC), Accountant at Monkey Adventures Ltd and Meku’s Bistro, where he gained extensive expertise in financial reporting, auditing, budgeting, and donor-funded project accounting.
