Winifrida Benedict Maro is a dedicated procurement professional with a strong academic background and extensive work experience. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Procurement and Supplies Management (MBA-PSM) from the Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA) graduating in 2023. She is a Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional (CPSP(T)) and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics Management from the Tanzania Institute of Accountancy in 2016. Her professional experience spans over seven years, including roles at Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) Moshi & Arusha, where she served as a Supplies, Procurement and Stores Assistant from 3rd March 2017 to 1st October 2023. She transitioned into academia, serving as a Part-time Assistant Lecturer at Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA) in Procurement and supply chain management from October 7th 2023 to December 30th 2024. Currently, She is Assistant Lecturer at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) since January 2025.
