CPSP (T) Rahim Musa Msofe, is an Assistant Lecturer at Moshi Co-operative University in the Department of Procurement and supply Chain Management under the Faculty of Business and Information Sciences. He holds a Bachelor degree in Procurement and Supply Management and a Masters Degree in Procurement and Supply Management from the Moshi Co-operative University. He is a certified and registered procurement and supply management professional registered by Procurement and Supplies Profession and Technician Board (PSPTB). He is also recognized by The International Federation of Purchasing and Supply chain Management as a Globally certified Procurement profession.  He had worked as a Procurement and supply chain expert of Tanganyika Arms Limited, where he was mainly involved in areas of Procurement management, Strategic sourcing, Logistics, inventory management, clearing and freight forwarding. He also worked as a part time lecturer at Stefano Moshi Memorial University College (SMMUCo) teaching procurement, Supply chain Management courses. He has taken part in various research writing projects, and being involved in the write-ups handled several consultancy assignments with Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA), Mawenzi Regional Hospital and Tanga Regional Referral Hospital.

In addition, apart from being actively involved in research, teaching and consultant in the field of Procurement and supply chain management, he has also been involving himself in projects on leadership, Auditing, financial management, civic education, governance and guidance and counselling.

He has also be engaged in University Administration in the Capacity of Assistant Examination Co-ordinator, Head of Procurement Management Unit, Head of Department Students Accommodation, and Currently the Head of Department of Guidance and Counselling.
