Prof. Alfred Sife, Vice Chancellor of Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), delivered a keynote speech during the opening ceremony of the Joint International Research Conference held in Naivasha, Kenya from July 22 to 24, 2025.

The conference, co-hosted by MoCU and The Co-operative University of Kenya (CUK), brought together scholars and researchers under the theme:
“Co-operatives Build a Better World: Revitalizing the Collective Power of Co-operation in Africa.”

A total of 34 MoCU staff members took part in the event, presenting diverse research papers aimed at advancing the co-operative movement and promoting sustainable development across the continent.
