REGCOOP Project Trains Change Facilitators from Co-operative Societies in Manyara Region

On Monday, February 02, 2026 Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), through the Regional Co-operative Development Project (REGCOOP), conducted a three-day training programme for change facilitators drawn from 11 leading co-operative societies in Manyara Region, as part of efforts to promote agricultural transformation through co-operatives.

The training brought together participants from Babati, Mbulu, and Simanjiro Districts, including the Regional Co-operative Registrar, Regional and District Co-operative Officers, the Manager of RIVACU, Secretaries of Co-operative Societies, and one influential member from each participating society.

Implemented by MoCU in collaboration with Norges Vel under the REGCOOP project, the training aimed at empowering participants to act as agents of change within their respective societies. The programme focused on strengthening leadership capacity, enhancing implementation of agreed action plans, and fostering sustainable agricultural and co-operative development.
