Mr. Abel R. Ngowi holds the Degree of Master of Business Administration (Agribusiness) and Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education and Extension from the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA). He also holds a Professional Certificate in Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies Management (PC-SACCOS Management) from the MoCU.  Currently, he is an Assistant Lecturer and Regional Program Coordinator serving at Tanga Regional Office of the Moshi Co-operative University. Prior to joining MoCU he was an Agricultural Tutor at the then Livestock Training Agency Mpwapwa Campus (LITA – Mpwapwa Campus). He also served as Area Agriculture Coordinator at BRAC Tanzania. He has researched, published, trained and conducted consultancies is community economic development, cooperation and rural development, agricultural extension, rural entrepreneurship, cooperative business management, agribusiness and sustainable agriculture and in business planning and strategic management.
