The Certificate of Coffee Quality and Trade (CQT) has been offered by the Moshi Co-operative University in collaboration with the Tanzania Coffee Board (TCB) since the academic year 2014/15. It is coordinated under ICCE through the Department of Extension and Outreach. The programme is a full-time programme offered at Moshi main campus and involves lectures, laboratory practicals, fieldwork/attachment, case studies, seminars and simulations. The practical sessions are conducted at the TCB laboratory. The entry qualifications for the programme require a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) (UQF level 4) with a minimum of four Ds in English, bookkeeping, Commerce, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Agriculture, Biology.
