On May 8, 2025, a capacity building training session was conducted for officials of Agricultural Marketing Co-operative Societies (AMCOS) from the Mbinga and Nyasa District Councils.

The training, coordinated by MBIFACU, aims to strengthen governance, accountability, and efficiency in financial management and investment within the co-operative sector.

Facilitators included experts from Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), the Co-operative Audit and Supervision Corporation (COASCO), the Tanzania Co-operative Bank (TCB), and the Weights and Measures Agency (WMA).

This initiative underscores the importance of empowering co-operative leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to drive sustainable development and member-focused service delivery.
