On May 12, 2025, Leaders from the TANECU Apex Co-operative Society based in Mtwara have successfully completed cooperative education training organized by Moshi Cooperative University (MoCU). Upon completion of the program, the leaders took an oath of ethics as part of their commitment to uphold co-operative principles and values.

Following the training, the TANECU leaders were awarded certificates in recognition of their achievement. As part of their learning experience, they also conducted an educational tour to various institutions, including the Kilimanjaro Native Co-operative Union (KNCU), to gain practical insights and strengthen their understanding of co-operative operations.
