On July 1, 2025, Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), in collaboration with the Bank of Tanzania (BoT), hosted a certificate awarding ceremony to recognize graduates of a specialized financial education training programme.

The guest of honour was Mr. Aristedes R. Mrema, Manager of the Economics Department at BoT Arusha Branch, representing the Branch Director.

The training was designed to enhance the financial expertise of staff from Uchumi Commercial Bank, supporting BoT’s broader initiative to improve public understanding and responsible management of personal finances through well-equipped financial education service providers.
