On September 01, 2025, The official launch of the Financial Education Training Programme for leaders of Savings and Credit Co-operative Societies (SACCOS) from Kilimanjaro, Tanga, and Arusha regions was held today at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU).

The training was inaugurated by Prof. John Safari, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic, Research and Consultancy, and will run for six days.

Facilitated by MoCU experts and coordinated under the Bank of Tanzania (BoT), the programme aims to enhance the knowledge and capacity of SACCOS leaders in financial literacy and co-operative management for improved performance and sustainability.
