On September 07, 2025, Prof. John Safari, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic, Research and Consultancy at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), officiated the certificate presentation ceremony for graduates of the Financial Education Training Programme.

The graduates, who are leaders of various co-operative societies from the regions of Kilimanjaro, Tanga, and Arusha, successfully completed the training designed to enhance their ability to serve as financial education service providers within their communities.

The programme was organized and delivered by MoCU under the coordination of the Bank of Tanzania (BoT), reaffirming the commitment to promote financial literacy and empower communities through improved co-operative leadership.
