On Friday, March 06, 2026 A delegation of officials from the Zanzibar Institute of Accountants, Auditors and Tax Advisors (ZIAAT) paid a working visit to Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) to strengthen academic collaboration and explore opportunities for mutual institutional benefit.

The visit formed part of ZIAAT’s broader initiative to build strong partnerships with higher learning institutions in order to promote excellence in the fields of accounting, auditing, and tax advisory services, while also supporting professional development for students and practitioners.

During the visit, the ZIAAT delegation engaged in discussions with MoCU officials on potential areas of cooperation, including professional training, joint research initiatives, and human resource development programmes. The discussions also provided an opportunity for experts from both institutions to exchange knowledge and experiences on taxation, professional practice, and emerging opportunities and challenges within the accounting and tax sectors.
