CAPACITY BUILDING FOR MOCU STAFF ON INCLUSIVE EDUCATION AND GENDER ISSUES

Description

The Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) has conducted training on Inclusive Education and Gender Issues, which took place on 28 August 2026 at Weruweru Lodge in the Kilimanjaro Region.

The training, which involved members of the University staff, was funded by the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) Project, implemented by the Government through the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

Speaking during the opening of the training, the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. George E. Matto, commended the Gender Coordinator, Dr. Asteria Ngaiza, together with the University team coordinating the project, as well as the facilitators from the University of Dar es Salaam, Dr. Lulu Mahay and Prof. Sarah Kisanga, for successfully organizing and facilitating the training.
