The Vice Chancellor of the Co-operative University of Kenya (CUK) and Guest of Honor at the closing ceremony, Prof. Kamau Ngamau has announced that preparations for the 2027 International Conference are already underway, while calling for stronger and continued collaboration between CUK and Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU).
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 6th International Conference on Sustainable Cooperatives Prof. Ngamau emphasized that the partnership must continue beyond the conference through academic exchange and joint research because they strengthen collaboration, promote knowledge sharing, and create opportunities for meaningful academic partnerships.
“ For the first time in Africa, the 2027 International Conference on Cooperative Research will be jointly hosted by CUK and MoCU in Nairobi. I welcome everyone to prepare and attend this global conference, which will provide an important platform for sharing knowledge, research and experiences in cooperative development.”
Prof. Ngamau commended MoCU for successfully hosting the conference and for its warm hospitality. He extended special appreciation to the Vice Chancellor of MoCU Prof. Alfred Sife keynote speakers, sponsors and all delegates for their valuable contribution to the conference’s success.
He urged stakeholders to sustain the momentum generated during the three-day conference and build on the partnerships established.
