Members of Songea Town Council SACCOS have enhanced their knowledge and capacity in the management and operation of their SACCOS through training conducted by Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), Ruvuma Regional Office.

The training equipped members with knowledge and practical skills in key areas, including the concept, importance and distinctive characteristics of SACCOS; effective membership and transformational leadership; financial management; and the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in SACCOS operations.

The knowledge and skills acquired are expected to enable members to participate more effectively in the management, strengthening and sustainable development of their SACCOS.
