
The Acting Vice Chancellor of Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), Prof. Fred Kilima, chaired a meeting of the Planning and Estates Subcommittee held at the University’s Main Campus in Moshi.
The meeting, held today, 17 September 2026, was followed by a site visit during which Committee members inspected the progress of ongoing construction and renovation projects aimed at strengthening the University’s infrastructure and improving the learning and working environment. Key matters discussed included the implementation plan for strategic projects, as well as progress reports on construction and renovation projects.
During the site visit, the Committee members inspected several development projects, including the construction of the Library building, construction of a wall around the students’ hostel area, and renovation of the staff dining facility.
The visit enabled the Committee to gain a clear understanding of the ongoing development projects and monitor their implementation in line with the University’s plans and priorities.
