The Vice Chancellor of Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), Prof. Alfred Sife, chaired the 15th Meeting of the Employment and Human Resource Management Committee for Support Staff, held on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, at the University’s Main Campus in Moshi.

The meeting deliberated on a range of matters relating to the management, professional development, and welfare of Support Staff. Key areas discussed included staff performance assessment, promotions, employees pursuing further studies, and the current employment status of Support Staff at the University.

The meeting provided an important platform for the Committee to fulfil its mandate of overseeing and advising on matters relating to employment, staff development, and human resource management. The deliberations and decisions are aimed at strengthening effective and efficient staff management while enhancing the University’s capacity to effectively discharge its institutional responsibilities.

Through such engagements, MoCU continues to strengthen its human resource management practices and promote an enabling working environment that supports staff development, productivity, and the achievement of the University’s strategic objectives.
