On Wednesday, May 27, 2026 The Acting Vice Chancellor of Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), Prof. John Safari, officially opened a one-day workshop focusing on the integration of formal and informal education systems in promoting environmental awareness and green entrepreneurship among youth.
The workshop forms part of the implementation of the GREENOVATE Project, funded through the Erasmus Programme initiative. The session was facilitated by the Project Lead, Mr. Miran from Slovenia, alongside the MoCU Project Coordinator, Dr. Happy Joseph.
The workshop aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding of sustainable environmental practices and youth engagement in green entrepreneurship through collaborative and innovative learning approaches.
The initiative reflects MoCU’s continued commitment to international collaboration, sustainability education, and the promotion of innovative solutions for environmental and socio-economic development.
