Third-year Bachelor of Business Information and Communication Technology (BBICT) students from the Faculty of Business and Information Sciences (FBIS) at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) showcased their ICT research projects during a project presentation session. The session was officiated by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Nathaniel Towo, and attended by academic staff, students, and other invited guests.

Speaking during the event, Dr. Towo commended the students for their creativity and encouraged them to continue developing their innovations even after completing their final year, emphasizing their potential to provide solutions to real-world challenges.

Dr. Towo also encouraged students to further their academic journey by pursuing Master’s degree studies. He also informed them that the University is in the process of introducing new postgraduate programmes in the ICT field, namely Data Science and Information Systems, and invited eligible graduates to take advantage of these opportunities once the programmes are officially launched.

The project presentations underscored the University’s commitment to fostering innovation, research, and practical learning while preparing graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to address emerging technological challenges. The event also highlighted the University’s dedication to nurturing innovations with the potential to make meaningful contributions to society and the advancement of the technology sector.
