Dr. Consesa Richard Mauki is a Lecturer in the Department of Community Development and Gender at Moshi Co-operative University. She holds a PhD and M.A. in Rural Development, and a BSc. in Agricultural Education and Extension, all from Sokoine University of Agriculture. She also holds professional certificates in SACCOS Management and Impact Evaluation.
Dr. Mauki has over 15 years of experience in teaching, research, consultancy, and community development practice. Her areas of expertise include co-operative development and management, agribusiness, value chains, business management, impact evaluation, climate-smart agriculture, and rural development. She has supported co-operative societies, farmer groups, associations, and community-based organizations in training, strategic planning, baseline surveys, project evaluations, and institutional development.
She has also been involved in the formation and strengthening of co-operatives and farmer organizations in Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar, with a particular focus on promoting sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural development among smallholder farmers.
