Martina Mariki holds a PhD in Information and Communication Science and Engineering, an M.Sc. in Information Communication Science and Engineering, and a B.Sc. in Information Systems. She has 10 years of experience working as an academic staff higher learning institution.
Her research, teaching and consultancy interests centre mainly on information systems development and management, artificial intelligence, machine learning database management and data science. She has authored multiple scholarly publications in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and information management, the full list can be accessed at Google Scholar. Apart from that Mariki is actively engaged as a geospatial data expert in the GeoICT4e project.
Administratively, Mariki is currently the Head of the ICT Department.
