Network Infrastructure and Operations Section

The Network Infrastructure and Operations section is responsible for managing and maintaining the University’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure. The section ensures University network connection operate at maximum efficiency; all protocols, security applications and firewalls are well established and controlled. The section manages and maintain hardware components such as routers, switches and wireless access points, software components like tools to monitor, manage and secure connections and data transfer as well as network logic like various networking protocols that place rules around data exchange.
