We warmly welcome you all to join our Department and embark on a journey of learning and growth.

The Department of Human Resources Capital Management and Administration, established in 2014, is from the former Department of Management. The Department is a vital hub for teaching, research, and consultancy in Human Resource Management. The program of HRM concentrates on the broad area of human resource management and practice, with choices to focus on Tanzania and the international level.

Before 2014, these functions were managed by the Management Unit within the then Department of Management and Law (MAL) of the Moshi University College of Co-operative and Business Studies (MUCCoBS). Following the University’s transition to Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), the Management Unit evolved into an independent Department with a history closely connected to the development of business management education.
