Certificate in Information Technology (CIT)

This one-year full-time programme is designed to meet the needs of learners, future employees, and employers in the ICT field.  It is a demand and competence-based programme. The holder of a Certificate in Information Technology (CIT) can apply skills and knowledge in a broad range of work activities in ICT, most of which are non-routine.  This will make the graduate of CIT a valuable asset to an organisation, practical for both personal and organisational productivity.

Applicants for the program should have obtained a a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or equivalent with passes in five approved subjects obtained before sitting for the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE). Applications for admissions usually are invited once a year between June and September. Detailed information about the application procedures and requirements is usually stated through the University’s main website and many other outlets.
